Lawrence Weiner “THE CENTER OF A CENTER”, now on view

New York based artist, Lawrence Weiner (1942-2021), who had been active on the front lines of the art scene since the 1960s as a standard-bearer of conceptual art, created a new work for Dazaifu Tenmangu, “THE CENTER OF A CENTER”.

Please take a look at this spectacular installation that has become permanent at the east precinct, which is surrounded by the Dazaifu Tenmangu Bunshokan, the entrance to the Kyushu National Museum, and the Dazaifu Amusement Park.
