This year’s NEW NEW DAY (16 March, 2025)

March 16 is “NEW NEW DAY”, a commemorative day established at Dazaifu Tenmangu at the initiative of artist Ryan Gander.
Since the year following its inception in 2011, the artist and the shrine has celebrated “NEW NEW DAY” each year by sending cards to those who support us.
In its 15th year, Gander proposed a special embroidered badge featuring ARATA-chan, the “NEW NEW DAY” character, gazing at a frog against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji.
